Connect the dots between faith and work at the beginning of your career, and discover God's redemptive purpose for your work. Orlando Heart of the City Fellows program is committed to helping shape and prepare Fellows to become Kingdom-minded individuals of character, grounded in the rhythms of a healthy Christian life and intimate relationship with Jesus. Our focus on spiritual formation and understanding the connection between our faith and work life will help participants practice integrating their experiences and circumstances, to learn to live purposeful, flourishing lives.

Why become an Orlando fellow?

· You’ll have a paid part-time internship in the Orlando area in your field of interest, while learning God's kingdom purpose for work.

· You’ll take graduate courses in theology through Reformed Theological Seminary, designed to equip you for daily integration of your faith.

· You’ll have the opportunity to serve and worship at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, a city center church in downtown Orlando, Florida. Experience life as part of a vibrant church family with 140 years of ministry experiences to build on.

· You’ll have a Christian mentor, and be biblically discipled within the Fellows community of as many as 12 young men and women.

· You’ll live with a host family in the Orlando area and make connections that last a lifetime in a city boasting incredible opportunities for rest and recreation.

· You’d be part of The Collaborative, First Presbyterian’s initiative in faith and work, and discover the redemptive purpose behind your work.

· You can learn the rhythms of a healthy Christian life, including ongoing counseling and a silence/solitude retreat at Mepkin Abbey monastery in South Carolina.
