The TFI Director's Summit
TFI invites all TFI program directors to our annual Directors Summit at Wayfloy Mountain Village, Gatlinburg, TN, June 6-9, 2017 (June 5-9 for new Directors).
This Summit is designed by directors and for directors who uniquely understand the call and commitment of shepherding Fellows through a radically formational year. In this beautiful setting, directors will have much-needed space to rest, reflect, and enjoy the encouragement, wisdom, and friendship from fellow directors at the close of each program year. This year we will again have Rev. Dr. Bill Fullilove lead us in a professional development workshop. The Summit will also provide ample time for prayer, biblical teaching, relationship building, fun, and R&R. In all this, we will worship almighty God.
TFI offers the Summit to directors free of charge as a gift to you in appreciation for your selfless commitment to your Fellows and he Fellows community.
However, because we are penalized for late cancellations, TFI is asking that every director submit a REFUNDABLE $100 deposit to hold your space this year. The deposit will be refunded to all who attend at the close of the Summit. If you need to change your plan at the last minute, we understand, however this deposit will help us cover the cost of your unused room.
Checks can be mailed to:

Arrive at Wayfloy Mountain Village between 3:00-5:00pm on Monday, June 5, 2017. As a new Director you will receive Highlands Consulting (Part 1). Highlands is an extensive professional development and abilities potential survey designed to help you better understand your own strengths as you lead your Fellows. Personalized consultations usually cost several hundred dollars but thanks to the generosity of Bill Fullilove and his team we are able to offer this valuable service to directors for free. Thanks be to God!
Directors who have attended a Summit before will arrive on Tuesday afternoon, June 6 between 3:00 and 5:00pm.
All Directors will depart the Conference Center by 11:00am on Friday, June 9.
A detailed agenda will be circulated as the Summit gets closer, but some highlights include:
- Personalized consulting by Bill Fullilove and Bruce Lowe to help directors identify areas where they can grow in their effectiveness in life and ministry
- Biblical Teaching
- A customized workshop on the theology and practice of support raising
- Sharing the joys, challenges, and best practices from the program year
- Dinner in town
- Free time for hiking, napping, exploring Gatlinburg, or anything else that helps you rest and restore
We look forward to seeing you there! Please direct all questions to Morna at email@example.com.
